Internship (for Veterinary School Graduates)
The Park Equine Hospital Internship Program provides the opportunity for doctors to gain practical skills and expand their knowledge in surgery, anesthesiology, general medicine, ambulatory field care, breeding soundness and reproduction, lameness evaluation, and diagnostic imaging. Interns will learn to manage hospitalized patients, routine ambulatory appointments, ambulatory emergencies, and assist in surgery. PEH offers a flexible start date for internships with competitive wages and a reasonable on-call schedule. Please see the link below for more details.

Externship (for Veterinary School Students)
The Park Equine Hospital Externship Program provides students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a practice dedicated to providing quality care to some of the most valued equine patients in the world. The program design provides the opportunity for students to experience all fields of the equine medical field. It was created with the mission to find quality Fellowship and Internship candidates, and to provide a platform for veterinary students to apply their clinical knowledge in a practical veterinary setting.
Shadow (for Undergraduate Students)
The Park Equine Hospital Shadow Experience Program is intended to give undergraduate students the opportunity to experience an equine practice. During this program there will be opportunities to attend morning rounds, observe surgeries, observe emergencies, and work side by side with our experienced technicians. Our Shadow Program will expose students to different fields of veterinary medicine. Program details will be designed on an individual basis to meet the needs of each accepted student.
